Internship
At ISHK we are committed to developing the younger generation, one of the ways we do this is by providing them with a place for internship. Internships are an excellent tool for students to glimpse the skills and knowledge required in a particular field of work. The students will have a hands-on learning experience while with us, immersing in the projects and day to day jobs the society are involved in.

Internship Duration

3 months (June 1 to August 31)

Expected Activity and Project Involvement

– Do Good Projects
– Research Proposal and Planning
– Creation of exhibition hall / – Mini natural history museum
– Educational Programmes
– Marine Conservation Project
– Sustainability Projects
– Baseline Survey

Workplace

The intern will usually be based at our Sai Kung Office; however, they may be deployed to other locations within Hong Kong.

Working Time

Three days a week, 10:00 AM to 18:00 PM plus any additional days the mentor or supervisor requires the intern to complete a task.
(Working times can be flexible and is open for discussion with the internship supervisor)

Requirements

– Good command of English
– Undergraduate students currently studying a life sciences degree or any other related course.
